With timely intervention, Acute Lympholastic Leukemia (ALL) is quite treatable. In Bangladesh, many families cannot afford the expensive primary treatment protocols. Since 2016, for select cases with good prognosis and demonstrable need, we started accepting donations to subsidize the costs of the basic treatment. We cover up to 60% of the total cost per cycle, which can range from $500 - $800 dollars per month. This is a much higher cost per treatment cycle than the maintenance cost we fund through our Support-A-Life program.
